Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - Materials

This is just a small sample of many materials I created for Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
As the Key Material Artist I was responsible for creating and organizing base material library that was later used by environment artists and outsource vendors to texture exteriors and interiors of the whole city.
I was also supervising a few material artist contractors that were supporting me on this journey.
My other responsibilities were:

• Fixing, polishing and tweaking existing materials
• Working closely with our programmers and technical artists on developing new types of shaders and technical solutions in order to make the city look more detailed and making sure, materials will look and behave correctly in every time of the day scenario.
• Making sure our materials and textures meet and exceed all performance requirements while keeping high detail fidelity
• Working closely with our outsource team, making sure all outsourced material content follows established quality and performance guidelines
